| The company that was to
become Weldinghouse, Inc. began in 1983. At
that time, the company concentrated on service
and repair of torches and regulators. In February
of 1986, the company was officially organized
as Weldinghouse, Inc. By this time, the company
had expanded its services to include selling
and servicing used welding and fabricating equipment.
Additionally, the company had begun taking on
new product lines to expand its market share. |
|
| The present ownership took
over in November of 1992 and Weldinghouse quickly
became a full-line welding supply company offering
sales, service and rental of all major lines
on welding equipment, supplies and industrial
gases. In January of 1999, Weldinghouse opened
a branch office in McAllen, Texas, to further
expand its market share. |
